Who can take part
- You are an adult (over 18) needing pituitary tumor surgery through the nose (transsphenoidal approach).
- You are enrolled in the NINDS study protocol “03-N-0164, Evaluation and Treatment of Neurosurgical Disorders,” or you can join under that protocol.
- You can give written consent (you understand and agree to take part).
- You can safely undergo MRI during surgery, including MRI contrast if needed.
- You can fit the special MRI operating table during anesthesia (no size/weight limit issues).
