Who can take part

  • You must be age 18 or older
  • You must be a family member of someone in the study family who has the P51S COCH mutation
  • You must be able to take part in required medical (and possibly mental) assessments
  • You must be willing to join and complete the study visits
  • You should not have other major middle-ear or inner-ear conditions that could confuse results
  • You should not have had ear/inner-ear surgery or certain balance treatments (like gentamicin injections)
