Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had balance problems for more than a year that have not improved with standard therapy.
  • You have hearing loss in your ear to be implanted (moderate to severe for early stage, or up to severe for later stage).
  • You have been diagnosed with bilateral vestibulopathy (both inner ears not working well).
  • You are able to have ear surgery and use the device.
  • You do not have other conditions that would interfere with the study, like certain neurological disorders or substance use.
