Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older and able to sign consent and follow study instructions
- Have confirmed prostate adenocarcinoma (a specific prostate cancer type) that has not spread to distant sites
- Have “high-risk localized” prostate cancer (for example, very high Gleason score, high PSA, or T3a stage)
- Plan to have prostatectomy with extended lymph node dissection as your main treatment
- Have good general health for treatment (ECOG performance status 0 or 1) and enough organ function on recent blood tests
- Have recent testing within about 30 days of starting treatment and can use contraception during the study and until surgery
