Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has spread) and your tumor’s ER, PR, and HER2 results are known
- You are starting or still early in treatment for metastatic breast cancer (no more than 1 prior treatment line for metastatic disease)
- Your doctors can access your prior treatment and response records, and you can receive follow-up care at UNC-Chapel Hill
- You can provide tissue for research (from a stored tumor sample or from a new biopsy if needed)
- You can give blood for research when you join and again at the first time the disease gets worse
