  • You have gone through menopause
  • Your breast cancer is stage I, II, or III (not metastatic)
  • Your cancer is planned to be treated with chemotherapy or another cancer medicine (as adjuvant or neoadjuvant treatment)
  • You have not had another past cancer diagnosis before
  • You do not have certain metabolic diseases, such as diabetes
