Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 28 and 40
  • Your liver fat level is more than 10% on the study measurement (imaging)
  • You are not pregnant and can safely undergo MRI scans
  • You should not have certain long-term illnesses (like chronic kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or active cancer)
  • You should not have liver scarring/certain liver pressure problems (like cirrhosis or portal hypertension)
