Who can take part
- Your body mass index (BMI) is at least 25, or at least 30 with metabolic syndrome, or at least 35
- You are not dealing with another liver disease (besides what the study is focusing on)
- You are not currently taking medicines known to change liver fat
- Your waist size is less than 150 cm
- You can safely have an MRI scan (no MRI safety issues)
