Who can take part
- You are a man age 18 or older and willing to sign consent.
- Your prostate cancer is confirmed by biopsy or tests, and it does not have small-cell features.
- Your cancer has spread (metastatic disease) and is still progressing despite testosterone being blocked (medical or surgery).
- You have tried (or could not tolerate) abiraterone and then tried (or could not tolerate) docetaxel, or are not suitable for docetaxel right now.
- You need to have enough “reserve” on blood tests and organ function tests (blood counts, liver, and kidneys) and an overall health score of 0–2.
- You must not have had certain treatments close to enrollment, have no brain/central nervous system metastases, and avoid major uncontrolled heart problems.
