Who can take part
- Men aged 18 to 80 years old
- Prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy that has spread beyond the prostate (metastatic)
- Cancer is progressing (getting worse) at the time you join the study
- You are able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0-1) and have a life expectancy of at least 3 months
- Adequate organ function as shown by blood tests (no blood transfusions or growth factors within 14 days before starting)
- Willing to use effective contraception if you have a partner who could become pregnant
