ReHAB brain-computer training for people with arm paralysis

This trial tests whether the ReHAB system can be safely used to help people with “tetraplegia” (arm and hand weakness from spinal cord injury or stroke) control tasks using brain signals. Because it’s an early feasibility study, the main goal is to see if the approach works well enough and is practical to do long-term.

Who can take part

  • You’re between 22 and 65 years old
  • You have tetraplegia from a stable spinal cord injury or stroke, and it started at least 12 months ago
  • Your weakness has been stable for at least 3 months, and your brain/body are able to do the control tasks for about a year
  • You can clearly communicate (speaking is OK) or you can reliably answer yes/no another way
  • You can travel to the study site and likely stay nearby for at least 13 months
  • Your scalp skin must be healthy enough for surgery, with no lesions or breakdown
