Who can take part
- You’re age 18 or older (with a possible option to join if you’re 12–17 after an interim review).
- You have a confirmed cystic fibrosis diagnosis based on test results (like sweat test, specific gene changes, or specific nasal/rectal test results).
- Your lung function and breathing test results are at or above set thresholds (including oxygen levels on room air).
- Your cystic fibrosis lung medicines haven’t changed for at least 4 weeks before each treatment period (sometimes this can be extended up to 12 weeks).
- Your blood tests are adequate (bone marrow, liver, and blood clotting) and infection screening tests are negative for major viruses and tuberculosis.
