This Phase 2 study tests whether injecting a patient’s own fibroblast cells (skin-support cells) into the wound area after a below-knee amputation can help the stump skin heal and work better. It’s intended for people who already have (or are close to having) a prosthetic fitting.

Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 65 years old
- Have a below-knee amputation (not above-knee)
- Use a prosthetic for about 3 months, or have had prosthetic bone attachment for at least 1 month
- Have no major skin problems at the stump site (no deep erosion into deeper layers, no active infection, and good blood flow to the skin)
- Be able to follow study visits, injections/biopsy steps, and wound-care instructions
- If you can become pregnant: have a negative pregnancy test and agree to use reliable birth control and avoid pregnancy/breastfeeding during the study and for 1 month after
