Who can take part
- Be 18 to 75 years old and able to sign consent
- Have one of these blood conditions: AML or MDS (cohort 1), or CMML, aCML, CML, CNL, myelofibrosis, or MDS/MPN overlap (cohort 2)
- Be well enough for transplant (Karnofsky score 70% or higher, and heart/lung limits that meet study cutoffs)
- Have heart tests okay for transplant (heart pumping strength at least 45% and no serious rhythm problem) and lung tests at least 50% of predicted
- Women who could become pregnant and men/partners who could become pregnant must use reliable birth control during the study and for 30 days after, with a recent negative pregnancy test
