Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You have acute myeloid leukemia or a high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome that has come back or is not responding to treatment, or you have leftover disease after treatment.
  • You have a brother, sister, or unrelated donor who is a close match and willing to donate stem cells or bone marrow.
  • Your heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are working well enough for the procedure.
  • You agree to use effective birth control during the trial and for 6 months after.
