Who can take part
- You are age 15 or older when radiation planning starts
- You have confirmed Hodgkin lymphoma or non-Hodgkin lymphoma (or resected thymoma needing extra radiation)
- The radiation plan must target the mediastinum (central chest area)
- You already had standard chemotherapy for your lymphoma and can start this chest radiation within 1 month after restaging scans
- You are generally able to care for yourself (performance status better than ECOG 2)
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can expect to live at least 12 months
