Who can take part
- Be an adult (age 18 or older) and agree to consent and privacy forms (HIPAA)
- Have pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma confirmed by lab testing, with no spread to distant organs
- Be well enough for possible pancreatic surgery (a surgeon must say other health problems won’t block resection)
- Have locally advanced pancreatic cancer that is resectable, borderline resectable, or not resectable but not metastatic
- Be able and willing to do an ultrasound-guided core biopsy before treatment and another after treatment
