Who can take part
- You must be an adult (18 or older).
- The collapse must be witnessed (someone saw or heard it happen).
- At the scene, you are unconscious and not breathing normally (no, abnormal, or agonal breathing).
- Someone who witnessed the collapse has prior CPR training.
- The situation should not be due to choking/strangulation or other obvious lack of oxygen.
- The collapse should not be from trauma, an obvious drug overdose, or another obvious non-cardiac cause like major injury; you also can’t be pregnant.
