Who can take part

  • You are between ages 10 and 70
  • You previously joined the UPenn Biobank or Center for Applied Genomics Biobank and agreed to be recontacted
  • Your body weight is above a certain threshold (BMI 25+ in adults, or age-based high BMI in kids/teens)
  • You do not have a current diagnosis of type 1, type 2, or other forms of diabetes
  • You are not pregnant
  • You can follow the study steps and don’t have major health issues that would interfere
