This study tests a child sleep “sensor” device in kids who have been referred to a sleep clinic because sleep apnea is suspected. It may help doctors diagnose sleep problems more easily using extra information from the sensor.

Who can take part

  • Be older than 1 year old
  • Have been referred to a sleep clinic because sleep apnea is suspected
  • You (parent/guardian/carer) need to be fluent in English and able to communicate with study staff
  • No known allergy to the adhesive used to stick the sensor to the skin
  • Your child’s neck skin should be suitable for the sensor (no skin problems where it would attach)
  • Your child should have enough space on the neck for the sensor and be unlikely to become too distressed by added sensors
