Sleep study comparing home diagnostic devices for suspected sleep apnoea

This study tests a wearable device (Sunrise) against two current devices (oximetry and WatchPAT) to find better ways to diagnose obstructive sleep apnoea at home. If you have symptoms of sleep apnoea, you may be able to participate.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have been referred with possible obstructive sleep apnoea
  • You have a smartphone with Bluetooth and internet access to use the Sunrise app and send results
  • You can understand simple English instructions with pictures
  • You are willing and able to follow the study procedures
  • You do not have a beard that you are unwilling to shave just below your lip
  • You do not have other sleep disorders, unstable heart disease, or certain other conditions listed by the study
