- Be 18 years or older

- Already have an arterial line (usually in the wrist/arm or groin) and/or a Swan-Ganz catheter for blood pressure monitoring
- Be able to have blood pressure monitoring done with the study’s device (the staff must be able to set it up technically)
- Be able to make your own decisions and not be excluded for mental illness that affects consent
