Who can take part

  • Your age must fit one of these groups: at least 6 months old, and under 21 years, or 21 years and older.
  • You must be able to take the study medicine by mouth or through a feeding tube (it comes as a liquid or tablet).
  • You must have biopsy-proven Langerhans cell histiocytosis or another specified histiocytic tumor/lesion.
  • Your disease must be hard to treat or clearly getting worse recently (for some groups, this must happen within 3 months).
  • You must be well enough to participate (Lansky/Karnofsky performance score meets the study threshold).
  • Your blood, kidney, liver, and heart tests must meet the trial’s required safety limits.
