Who can take part
- You have a sore throat that fits a Centor score of 3–4 and you do not have a cough
- Your symptoms have been going on for less than 8 days
- You had a rapid strep (GAS) test taken and it was negative
- You are able and willing to give informed consent (and if under 18, both parents/caretakers must consent)
- You are not currently taking antibiotics
- You do not have a known or suspected allergy to phenoxymethylpenicillin
