Who can take part

  • Your nasopharyngeal cancer is confirmed as T3 or T4 and has come back in the local area
  • No signs of distant spread (metastasis) on scans
  • It has been more than 1 year since your first round of radiation ended
  • You can have treatment if you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding (and you’re age 18–70)
  • Your body can handle chemotherapy based on blood counts and organ lab tests (kidney/liver)
  • You must have had an MRI about 3 months after your first radiation course
