Pembrolizumab plus chemo without radiation for high PD-L1 lung cancer

Locally Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This trial studies whether pembrolizumab combined with standard chemo can treat locally advanced, unresectable stage III lung cancer without giving radiation first. It is intended for people whose tumor has high PD-L1 (a marker linked to how well immunotherapy may work).

Chemo, immunotherapy and targeted radiation before surgery for advanced lung cancer

This trial tests a new approach for people with certain advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to lymph nodes in the chest but might still be removed. It combines a short course of high-precision radiation, immunotherapy (sintilimab), and standard chemotherapy before surgery to see if it can improve outcomes.

NCT04297605Recruiting· Phase 1
Pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy for advanced lung cancer

This Phase 1 study tests pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) given together with a chemotherapy drug to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is locally advanced or has spread. It’s aimed at people who can handle treatment with an ECOG performance status of 2, including some with certain types of brain metastases.

NCT05589818Recruiting· Phase 2
Pembrolizumab for advanced lung cancer without key gene targets

This Phase 2 trial studies pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy drug) in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer whose disease can’t be treated with curative surgery or combined chemoradiation. It aims to see how well the treatment works and how safely it can be given, especially for people who have not had other cancer medicines for metastatic disease.

New drug plus chemotherapy for advanced lung cancer

This trial tests a new study drug called PF-08634404 combined with standard chemotherapy for people with advanced lung cancer that has not been treated before. It aims to see if this combination works better than chemotherapy alone.

NCT05624996Recruiting· Phase 3
Targeted high-dose radiation added to standard lung cancer treatment

This trial tests whether adding high-dose, targeted radiation to the usual treatment helps people with locally advanced, non-operable lung cancer live longer or better control the cancer. It may help shrink tumors in the chest and improve outcomes when surgery can’t be done.
