Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older, and you have advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • You have not had any cancer medicines for metastatic (spread) cancer yet
  • You have never had a PD-1 or PD-L1 immunotherapy drug before (for example, drugs like pembrolizumab or atezolizumab)
  • Your tumor does not have certain gene changes that have approved targeted drugs (like EGFR, ALK, ROS1, BRAF, NTRK, RET, MET, etc.)
  • Your overall health score is ECOG 2 or 3, meaning you need some help with daily activities or are limited
  • Your organs and blood tests are good enough (blood counts, liver, and kidney function meet set limits)
