Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 4 months and 18 years old
  • Your child needs surgery for craniosynostosis (early skull suture closure) and is being followed by rare bone/calcium/phosphate centers
  • You (and your child, with your parent/guardian permission) must agree to join the study
  • Your child must not be taking oral corticosteroids right now
  • Your child must not have used corticosteroids for more than 3 months before the surgery
