Who can take part

  • Your child is between 0 and 6 years old.
  • Your child is scheduled for surgery to correct craniosynostosis (early skull bone fusion).
  • Your child is in overall good health (ASA class I, II, or III).
  • Your child does not have serious heart, lung, or kidney disease.
  • Your child's circulation to the arms and legs is normal.
  • You (the parent or guardian) agree to the study and sign a consent form.
