- Your child needs surgery for single-suture craniosynostosis (not multiple sutures)
- The surgery would be done under general anesthesia (fully asleep)
- Your child is in the usual low-risk health group (ASA 1–2)

- Your child is not known to have a syndromic (genetic/chromosomal) cause of craniosynostosis
