Study how anesthesia affects brain injury markers in craniosynostosis surgery

Who can take part

  • Your child needs surgery for single-suture craniosynostosis (not multiple sutures)
  • The surgery would be done under general anesthesia (fully asleep)
  • Your child is in the usual low-risk health group (ASA 1–2)
  • A parent/guardian must sign informed consent for the study
  • Your child is not known to have a syndromic (genetic/chromosomal) cause of craniosynostosis
