SBRT treatment study for steady heart rhythm VT

Who can take part

  • You have heart muscle disease (ischemic or non-ischemic cardiomyopathy) shown on heart scans as scar or weak areas
  • You have had repeat episodes of steady VT (monomorphic VT) confirmed by ECG/monitor or an ICD recording
  • You either tried catheter ablation and it didn’t work/wasn’t possible, or ablation can’t be done
  • You have kept having VT even while taking a class III antiarrhythmic medicine (or you can’t take it, or it didn’t work or wasn’t tolerated)
  • Your heart rhythm is not mainly polymorphic VT or ventricular fibrillation
  • You can give informed consent and are not pregnant
