Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have an implanted defibrillator (AICD) in your chest.
  • You have had at least two episodes of a specific fast heart rhythm (monomorphic VT) in the past 8 weeks, or heart failure related to VT, or a VT storm.
  • Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is 20% or higher.
  • You have had at least one previous heart ablation (a procedure to treat abnormal heart rhythms).
  • Antiarrhythmic medications have not controlled your VT.
