Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You have HIV-1 and your viral load has been well controlled (under 40 copies/mL) for at least 2 years
- Your CD4 count is at least 200 for at least 1 year
- Your BMI is in the obesity range (BMI 30+, or BMI 27+ if you also have conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes)
- You can follow the study plan and agree to it in writing
- You are able to inject semaglutide under the skin yourself (or with help that the study allows)
