Who can take part
- You have diabetes (type 1 or type 2) confirmed by standard medical criteria.
- Your eye exam shows diabetic macular edema affecting the center of your macula on an eye scan (sd-OCT).
- Your vision test result is at least 34 letters on the ETDRS eye chart at screening (roughly 20/200 or better).
- You can follow all study instructions and attend all required visits.
- You must agree to prevent pregnancy during the study; women who can become pregnant must have a pregnancy test before starting.
- You either do not plan to get laser/anti-VEGF treatment, or your eye specialist says it’s not needed, and it can be held for at least 3 months after screening.
