Who can take part

  • You have been judged eligible to receive endobronchial (lung airway) valve treatment (EBV).
  • You are scheduled for a procedure where the valve could be removed for study.
  • You can stop blood-thinning medicine (anticoagulation) before the procedure if it applies to you.
  • If you take blood thinners, your care team must confirm they can be safely paused before the procedure.
  • If you cannot safely stop blood thinners ahead of time, you likely cannot join.
