Who can take part
- Be between 40 and 75 years old.
- Be on a stable low dose of prednisone (less than 10 mg per day) or an equivalent dose.
- Do not smoke for at least 4 months before screening and agree not to smoke during the study.
- Have had the pneumococcal (“pneumonia”) vaccine and the flu vaccine.
- After your prior bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, your reduced lung volume must be under 350 ml and your shortness of breath must still be at least moderate (mMRC score 2 or higher).
- You must still have the endobronchial valves in place and be able to return for all follow-up visits and tests.
