Who can take part

  • Your child is 3 to 18 years old at diagnosis
  • DIPG is newly diagnosed and hasn’t spread elsewhere (“non-disseminated”), based on symptoms and scans
  • At screening, they can do daily activities at a moderate level (KPS/LPS score is at least 50)
  • Recent blood and urine tests are in safe ranges (neutrophils, platelets, hemoglobin; liver and kidney; and urine protein is not too high)
  • Blood clot history is negative (no prior deep vein/arterial clot or pulmonary embolism, and no known clotting condition)
  • They should not have a serious allergy to similar biologic antibody medicines, and they should be safe for MRI without special issues
