Who can take part

  • You have relapsed or refractory AML, or relapsed/progressed high- or very-high-risk MDS
  • You are age 18 or older
  • Recent tests show your kidneys, liver, and other organs can handle treatment
  • Your expected lifetime is at least 12 weeks, and you can do daily activities at a good level (ECOG 0–1)
  • Your white blood cell count is below 50 (a medicine like hydroxyurea is allowed to help reach this)
  • You can understand the study and sign (or your legal representative can sign) informed consent
