Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are currently in the hospital for acute heart failure (fluid overload symptoms)
  • Your blood test shows high heart-failure marker levels (NT-proBNP ≥ 400 or BNP ≥ 100)
  • Your body size fits the ReDS sensor limits (height 155–190 cm and BMI 22–39)
  • You are not being discharged on certain heart-support IV medicines, and you do not have a heart pump or transplant
  • You do not have major lung-related anatomy issues, kidney failure on dialysis, another ongoing randomized study, or a life expectancy under 12 months
