Who can take part
- Be diagnosed with heart muscle weakness (cardiomyopathy) and heart failure for at least 6 months
- Have moderate symptoms at baseline (NYHA class II or III) and be on an appropriate, stable heart-failure medication plan for at least 3 months
- Have had at least one heart-failure hospitalization or urgent emergency visit in the last 12 months due to fluid overload that needed IV water pills
- Have high BNP or NT-proBNP blood test levels within 90 days of starting the study
- Be age 22 to 88 and be able to do the required heart scans/tests and follow-up visits
