Who can take part
- You’re age 21 or older
- Your first stroke happened at least 6 months ago, and it left you with arm weakness (hemiparesis) that affects arm movement
- You have moderate to severe arm movement problems and can still move your shoulder and elbow using your own effort (voluntary activation)
- You can follow the therapy instructions and understand commands in English
- Your vision can fully see the screen during the task (no major visual field loss that blocks viewing)
- You haven’t had certain recent treatments or conflicting studies for the affected arm (within 6 weeks), and you haven’t had spasticity treatments (meds or Botox) within 3 months
