- Your blood pressure is very low, or you need medications that keep it up (like “vasoactive agents”)

- You have at least one sign that your body isn’t getting enough blood (like confusion, cold/sweaty skin, low mixed venous oxygen, high lactate, or low urine for hours)
- You have no reason you cannot receive “heart replacement therapy” (HRT) if needed
