Who can take part

  • You (or a legal representative/family member) can give consent to join
  • You are covered by the French social security system (not AME)
  • You are an adult (18 or older) and not pregnant
  • You have a serious circulation problem called shock, such as septic shock, cardiogenic shock, or after cardiac arrest
  • You need medicines to keep blood pressure up (vasopressor or similar), and your blood lactate is above 2.0
  • Your shock started within the last 12 hours (medicine started), not more than 12 hours before joining
