Transcatheter repair for leaky mitral valve in high-risk adults

Who can take part

  • You are 21 years or older
  • Your mitral valve leak is moderate-severe or severe (at least “3+”), based on heart ultrasound
  • You have symptoms from the leak despite the usual heart medications (your care team decides this)
  • Your heart team says you are high risk for mitral surgery and are not a good candidate for other approved catheter mitral valve options
  • Your mitral valve shape and size are suitable for the study device, and access through a vein from the groin is possible
  • You can agree to the consent form and come back for all follow-up visits
