Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have moderate or severe mitral valve leakage (doctors confirm it by echo measurements)
- Your symptoms are in NYHA class II, III, or ambulatory class IV (not NYHA class IVb)
- You have tried heart medicines for at least 1 month, unless your care team says otherwise
- Your heart team says you are high risk for open-heart surgery
