Brain stimulation study for language problems after stroke

Who can take part

  • If you’re a stroke patient: you’re at least 18, and your aphasia was diagnosed after your stroke
  • Your consent must be at least 1 month after your stroke date
  • You must be right-handed and able to speak and understand English fluently
  • You (and your health) can’t have conditions that prevent language/thinking testing, such as severe hearing, vision, or thinking problems
  • You can’t have a pacemaker or cardiac stimulator, and you can’t have metal in the skull
  • You must not have MRI or tACS safety issues, a seizure history, or untreated/unstable major psychiatric illness
