Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma from a pathology test
- Your cancer must be unresectable (can’t be removed with surgery) or metastatic (spread to other parts)
- You must have had at least one prior chemotherapy that includes an anthracycline
- Your cancer must be measurable on scans and have shown progression within the last 6 months
- You must be well enough to take treatment (ECOG 0 to 2) and recover from prior side effects (except hair loss) to mild or better
- You must have adequate heart, kidney, liver, and blood counts to safely receive gemcitabine or trabectedin
