Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with COVID-19 by lab test within the last 14 days
  • You have recent chest scan findings typical for COVID pneumonia within the last 5 days
  • You are in the ICU and are on a breathing machine (mechanical ventilation)
  • Your oxygen levels are low enough to meet specific thresholds from blood or oxygen measurements
  • A doctor expects you can live at least 24 hours and likely at least 30 days for trial purposes
  • You (or your legal representative) can sign informed consent
