Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (confirmed by a biopsy or cytology).
  • You have not had radiation to your chest or chest surgery before.
  • You have not had any prior cancer treatment (like chemotherapy).
  • You do not have fluid buildup in your lungs or around your heart, and you have no history of lung inflammation (interstitial pneumonia or pneumonitis) or autoimmune disease.
