Who can take part

  • You are scheduled to have a clinically needed MRI at the study site.
  • The baby can safely have an MRI and can be kept still/monitored.
  • The MRI requires anesthesia, and the team expects to use propofol and/or sevoflurane.
  • The baby must be full-term up to 1 year old (not born extremely early).
  • No implanted or attached metal/electronic device that makes MRI unsafe.
  • No major anesthesia safety risks (such as certain heart rhythm problems, specific genetic muscle conditions, or propofol safety red flags).
